Butterflies are a classic galvanizing symbol of migration. Today, as so many people have suffered under the current administration’s cruel immigration policy, it was inspiring to celebrate the beautiful aspects of migration through Barrionuevo’s bold public art project on one of Silver Lake’s historic stairways.
