Our environment is co-created. A touch, a sneeze, a gust of wind, a choice – all of our actions, planned and unpredictable – influence each other and our interconnected world. Being surrounded by butterflies was a reminder of how many unseen forces are dancing around us at all times. But, just as we are acted upon, we are actors! We can make small choices throughout the day that will ripple into bigger waves. I’m heartened by the reminder to focus on small, delicate things when the big picture is too vast to take in.
